Is there a way, using the ez lib or other ez functionality, to export all generated html files in the content tree to 'static' files on the local hd of the server (or some other place).
regards,
Ruud

Hi,
I'm sorry to inform you about this, but the functionality that you're requesting is not available at the moment. You could try to patch the code yourself in order to create a home-made export solution.

Thank you for the feedback.Do you have a suggestion on what I could use as a starting point, with regard to the ez code.

Ruud, I think you would be much better off using a third-party program for this. We use a program by the name of HTTrack (http://www.httrack.com/) to create a static version of our site which we then publish for the user.

Thanx,
Great tool. It looks like it could be used in a cronjob also?

Yup it can be used as a cronjob. Also, I forgot to mention that there is already a project for eZ publish that uses HTTrack. Check out eZ Sitecopier: http://ez.no/community/contributions/hacks/ez_sitecopier
