What is the best way to customize ezwebin to display Google Adsense for both, below top menu and for high column, in all pages?
I will appreciate any suggestion.

Hello,

It sounds like you might be able to use a custom tag to meet this need within ezxml content object content.

And it sounds like either toolbars, templates and or template operators could all be used to serve the same purpose within templates.

Cheers,
Heath

Heath,

Thank you for your quick response.
Could you please tell me what are those templates?
I'm not so familiar with then.

Regards,
Virgilio

I included the Google Adsense code directly into the frontpage template and worked fine, but the same was not true for the other templates because the Google ads was displayed aside of the left menu instead of above it.

Anybody has any idea about where to put it?

Heath,

Thank you for your attention,

As I said before, I put Google Adsense code directly into the frontpage template and worked fine, but the same was not true for the other templates like the Folder, Feedback Form and Forum, because the Google ads is being displayed aside of the left menu instead of above it.

What I need to know is what template to use to insert the google code.
Regards,

Heath

Hello Virgilio,

Apologies for misunderstanding you. Please do strive to be as verbose as possible (like your last message. direct / succinct at the end).

Well then ... based on your last message. You need to place your google adsense javascript within your websites pagelayout.tpl template file.

http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/4_0/templates/the_pagelayout

The actual file location is dynamic depending on your website configuration.

It may be found within your primary design extension templates directory.

IE: /path/to/ezpublish/extension/abc/design/abc/templates/pagelayout.tpl

You will need to find and edit this file yourself. I suggest searching by filename.

Cheers,
Heath

I was searching around and found this article which covers the specifics of installing google adsense javascript into a static html document / page. I hope this helps.

Heath,
I put Google Adsense code directly into the pagelayout.tpl template file and worked fine for all cases.
Thank you for your help.
Next time I will do my best to be more clear.
Regards.
