I want to make a virtual host (removing index.php) how can I do.

edit 

settings/override/site.ini.append.php

and add/edit

[SiteAccessSettings]
ForceVirtualHost=true

Now rename the file .htaccess_root to .htaccess.

Perhaps consider to clear the cache.
