I start with the command java -jar start.jar in a shell console but when I close the shell console the star.jar clodes too .... I tryed with java -jar start.jar & but it's the same thing. It must exists a solution for I don't have to have the console shell always open. Is there a solution ? Thanks

nohup java -jar start.jar&

should do the trick
