A few odd problems

Hi all,

Most of my site is working after a rather problematic upgrade from 3.1-2 to 3.4
However, there are still a few problems that I don't quite understand.

1) New Articles/News are not showing up in the content site with my custom 'melodic' design in the news article list, even though they do show up in the admin site and with the user design, and the older articles that do show, show with the admin content templates, so showing [Article], Node ID: ???, Object ID: ??? as well as the title, and wrong formatting for the content site. They are still there though, as if I type a direct link such as:
http://www.audiomelody.com/index.php?/melodic/news/linplug_announces_the_rm_iv_4_1_with_2700_midi_beats

it does show up.

2) New users cannot register from the content site, if you go to the registration page, and add all the details, once you press the register button, you are redirected to the following page: http://www.audiomelody.com/user/register rather than a URL containing index.php?/ as my site uses PHP as a CGI. So it comes up with page not found 404, and the user isn't registered.

3) For some reason, when I log in as an Editor, I cannot see the article or news lists of articles, although if I again use a direct link, the article shows perfectly, with the right design, formatting and everything.

I know these appear quite minor problems, but are starting to get annoying, and I can't work out why its happening??
