Changind attribute datatype to XML text to plain text

Alejandro Serrano	Monday 06 November 2006 11:39:33 am Hi, I have been using the XML text/block datatypes in my classes, but now I need to move to plain text blocks, because of needs of formatting. However, in a test site I've created, removing the attribute and adding another one with the same name removes every single attribute in every object. Is there any way I could make the transition?

Try this.

There is not any straightforward way to do it. Depending on how many objects, you could leave both attributes in place, and copy and paste from one to the other, but this requires editing each object.
