When does ezp team will release their new swfupload module ?
I have seen that during a demo, will it be out soon ?

Hi,
I think it's part of 4.1. That means it should be just around the corner, or the next one, or the one after that...
Really looking forward to this on as well, it will be a real time saver for our editors.

I've done a quick review of the work done so far on this, and unfortunately I must say it'll be better to write it again from scratch. First of all there's code quality (both JavaScript and eZ Publish backend code). Secondary, there are currently some issues with it on Windows in combination with other browsers than IE, because the Flash player implementation for Windows does not send the right cookies back to the server, so we need to use a session-less approach instead to ensure it works on all platforms.
I believe we will be working in the near future on this, so please stay tuned and you'll see something coming in the next month(s).

Better to get it right and have it a little later than buggy with potential security issues.
