Yes, it is in typo3 and contenido and i tried it in phpcms to. Works fine, look into the forum for problems:

No, but you need not a lot of time. In Ez you can develop everything, what you can do with osc or phpbb2.
I made some shops with osc, but update with own layout and improvements is terrible. Here you have XML in database, so the dream of crossmedial publishing is possible.
With osc you get faster results but later more problems. And do erverything in one place is better for customer.
If you want to stay with osc:
For OSC there are some cms like functionallities, go into contributions there and search for news or forum etc.
If you want to migrate to ez you can have a look at
http://ez.no/developer/ez_publish_3/contributions/import_script_for_data_import_from_22_to_31 and modify it for your need (and post it ;-) ) Hope it helps, greetings ekke
