Lots of XML forum post but I cannot get the right "path" on how to export XML content as VisionWT.com does... Could someone point out how to export XML data? or point out some links on documentation that can explain how to? Please...

http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/ez_publish_3_4/content_object_import_and_export You should use the package system or write your own package handler. the xml information is packed(tar) and compresssed with gzip

Hi Joe,
The XML feed on the VisionWT site is a RSS feed using the RSS export tool provided in eZ publish admin. I'd love to say it was harder than that but it wasn't. All we did is add the XML logo and link to the feed. Give it a whirl, it is dead easy :) I hope this helps and sorry for the delay... Its been a busy month for us. Tony

Oh he was talking about RSS... That was quite hard to figure that out :-) So Tony's answer is probably more suited as mine

Hi sure, Info: http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/reference/modules/rss To create the feed.
1. Create an export using the admin interface here http://mysiteadmin/rss/list
2. Select New Export
3. Select what you need and create the export
4. test by clicking on the link in the admin 5. Copy the link and paste into your template. Thats it...

Thanks very much... I have done the RSS. How can a third party site import the XML generated data? How can I display to the third party site the code so they can "put" the code on their site? Of course is they do not have an ez site... any ideas on that? thanks again...

Hey Joe, To put it into another site you just need to look up the RSS inport tools for that system. As RSS is an industry stadnard most systems should support it. If you want to test it try using the RSS client in Firefox (www.firefox.com) Just add the extension "sage". I am sorry I cannot be too much help on other systems for those answers I would go the the third party system forums. good luck with the site Tony
