Hi,
I have used ezp 3.2.3 on a hosting for some time without any trouble.
Last weeks and after some software server updates ans security (apache, php, other) made by the hosting company the ezpublish starts giving errors i cannot fix myself. And dont find a clear solution. Have read here something about issues regarding phpsu VS cgi VS module, but never full understard this questions.
Well, there is the descriton of problem:
(ezp 3.3.4. php 3.3.8, apache 1.3.31)
- i can access the front page site, but when visiting any link like site.com/index.php/eng/news
i get a "error > kernel 20"
- after some readings, i try change the url to site.com/index.php?/eng/news
and site.com/eng/news
but only display the front page I dont know if this problem is related with the CGI, module or phpsu. How can i check this ? Testing with 3.3.5 have the same result.
Another test:
- In the same server, have instaled the ezp 3.4.1.
The url style is: site.com/index.php?/eng/news
and everithing works fine ! How can i fix ezp 3.3.4 to work with my hosting account ? thanks
