Hello,

I'm new around here and would love to use EZ Publish if I could only get it installed. Can someone shed some light on this mess?:
http://bhenkel.echoechoplus.com/ezpublish/

Secondly, if the install does go through, I can't figure out how to get to the Admin area. I hope my server is compatible. Here is my phpinfo() file:
bhenkel.echoechoplus.com/info.php

Thanks in advance!

Brian,

Welcome to eZ Publish! You're very close to finished. For information on the timezone error, see:
http://ez.no/developer/forum/install_configuration/4_0_time_zone_error_during_install

Essentially it involves setting a timezone (date.timezone =) in your php.ini file. If you search php.ini for "timezone" you'll find more information.

Tell me more about your admin problem. When you finish the installation process, the setup wizard tells you a URL to use for the admin interface. Do you have this URL? What happens when you go there?

Thanks, Greg! That did it. So far I'm impressed with eZ Publish and the quick response to support requests. Looking forward to spending a lot of time here!

Hi

I just installed ezpublish with the setup wizard and all went well, until i wanted to access the admin section. It just returns the login screen. When I typ another login/password combination it returns an error message, so somehow it recognises the correct login/password, but does not put trough to the admin section.

At the start of the setup wizard I received a suggestion about a virtualhost and the postgresql db. These suggestions where passed on to my hostingprovider for check-up.

Here I list the setup info:

What error message?

Try enabling debugging for more info on what's wrong

Ez publish root - settings - override - site.ini.append.php

[DebugSettings]
DebugOutput=enabled

Then clear cache
Execute "php bin/php/ezcache.php --clear-all --purge" from ez publish root

Hi

With the error message I meant that the cms returns a screen with invalid user/password when I enter a wrong use/password, but when I enter the correct user/password I just get the login screen again without any message.

I've got a debug report with these messages:

This doesn't indicate to me why login does not work. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Hello all

I solved the problem by correcting the config.php file and can start using EZ from now.
Thank you for your suggestion.

Best regards
