You have probably given the new field a different identifier than the original. The override template still refers to the old one so the new one won't show. Take a look at your class definition and your override template(s).

Tommy...

Tisk, Tisk, Seriously! Reading your previous post(s) (2nd above the above), before reading your latest, I already got a good gist that you wanted someone else to just do it all for you but ... to say it?!

Everyone else is being really patient by moving on, leaving you to live and learn. You get what you give and by the looks of it you have a ways to go before you, get it.

Still we don't expect you to know it all at once, only that if it's really worth it for you, that you will at least take the time to learn, practice, prepare for the test's life / your imagination throws you. If your bored, your not trying hard enough --kracker 2005.05.18

Instead of digging a .... in this thread, you could compare your 'class identifier' against the demo : http://www.ez.no/ez_publish/demo

The eZ publish demo represents a regularly reset copy of the latest eZ publish (stable) which you can use to answer your questions when you just need a fresh / clean install to test an idea with.

I would also highly suggest documenting / keeping a log of what you do as you do it as you practice your eZ publish development / customization skills so you can see where your changes to your build began to go into the red (fail).

Being able to back track to what you did when things go wrong is a huge part of successful software development, yes, even on the user side :|

Now, I think there are some issues that are very ....... to work through in a forum, especially when it's clear you need to work a little harder first before anything we say is going be clearly understood.

You also might like to take a look at all the files in the settings directory.
settings/override/
settings/siteaccess/

I say all of this with a clear conscious because I was you, before I knew just exactly how to do what I wanted to do too! So in reverse practicality I'm just like you, only different.

I suspect Tommy means frustrated rather than bored ;-)
