eZSys guys: From the bottom of my heart, I beg you : please, please, please restore the online version of the SDK docs. I know it may be a bit outdated, but at least it was more complete than what you guys have up now.

You can have your own version of the SDK. Read the following part of the documentation: http://ez.no/content/view/full/23629 It tells you how to generate the SDK-like documentation. When you've done that, you can access it with an url like this: http://myserver.com/admin/reference/view/ez Where "admin" refers to your siteaccess. hth

But this doesn't show you the information from the sdk. Ez meant to replace the sdk with online documentation. But the online documentation isn't as good as the original sdk. It needs better organisation. With the doxygen generated html you are getting a pretty view of the php code ez publish is written in. Maybe until the online docs are good enough the sdk should exist? There should have been notice from ez that the sdk was going to be taken offline.... Personally i have a local copy of 3.1 that i use for sdk information... Paul

Paul, Is there any way to get that copy of the SDK from the 3.1 version? I only downloaded the windoze installer version and not the .zip, so I don't know how to get it w/o uninstalling 3.2 and re-installing 3.1, which I don't want to do. I don't think anything but the latest version is available on the ez site. It seems that there is zero on workflows in the current documentation, and I know there was some "stuff" in the SDK.
Thanks. RWW

Have a look here: http://ez.no/developer/download/ez_publish_3/stable It has links to all 3.x versions released so far. Remember to run doxygen on your copy. Paul

Why don't you guys just post the DOxygen-generated docs somewhere on ez.no to save every single user from having to install, configure, and learn to use DOxygen? Is it a traffic control issue? or are you just intentionally trying to make it difficult for folks to learn this system? (just kidding on that last ;-) If someone's already gone to the trouble of compiling the DOxygen-generated docs, could they please make them available to the rest of us somewhere?

The doxygen docs are on http://pubsvn.ez.no But the other SDK pages not. I may bring them up eventually there as well (need to go back to 3.1 I guess). -paul

I added the sdk and manual from a 3.1 installation to the public svn mirror. But beware that it is old and parts of it are no longer valid: http://pubsvn.ez.no/sdk/ http://pubsvn.ez.no/manual/ hth -paul
