In my local setup (which is a setup from scratch), the main user node in the node tree happens to be node 4 (instead of node 5 in ezp's shipped clean kernel). Unfortunately, many template functions still rely on a user node root of 5 (even after the introduction of a site.ini -variable for individual customization of the user root). This is the reason for some weirdness on my ezp-installation you won't see elsewhere ;-). Whow!

Yes, the use of fixed node IDs is unfortunate, we will find a better solution for this and the whole browse issue as well. I cannot promise any exact dates for this yet.
