How to collect objects reference?

Hi,

I have some difficult situation. I would not like to collect nodes attributes informations, but its children's ID.

Typical in poll we add new attribute and select "information_collection" flag, and then we create object and add some options to this attribute...

I have a ranking (parent node) of the sample objects (child nodes), and I would give users the opportunity to vote for these objects. I can add, they can vote, so the number of options can change.

Can I achieve this with information collector? Or there is maybe some other smart way...
