Look and feel from admin / setup with different site-accesses - problem

I have run into a problem on a installation with 2 sites on the same ez-installation. Installed the latest stable 3.3-4 to check, and get the same problem there.

If we install for example demo-site blog and demo-site forum, and then access blog_admin, Setup, Look and feel, we can add/edit metadata, site url and more..., then save.

We can then try to access forum_admin, Setup, Look and feel, but here we get an warning telling us ini-file is inconsistent with object.

From what I can figure out, the changes overwrites each other in the /settings/override/site.ini.append.php file. I expected the changes to be written to the site-access-spesific file /settings/siteaccess/blog/site.ini.append

Is this the way it is ment to be ? Other experiences with this ?

If we change a style for one site, it then changes for all other sites running under the same ezp install. Is there a way to apply a style only to one specific Siteaccess, and not the override site.ini.append.php (besides doing it manually)???

So far I've only found a manual method of solving this.
Remove or rename design.ini.append.php from the override folder and use only settings/siteaccess/yourSiteDesign/design.ini.append.php but edit manually.

Three years later... version 3.9.1 and the problem is still there.

Editing a design will write to settings/override/site.ini.append.php, while it should touch settings/siteaccess/custom_website/site.ini.append.php.

This silly behaviour breaks the whole multisite feature, as the admin of one site can change the title and the meta tags of all other sites in the same installation at once.

I can't believe there's not a decent workaround...

The design functionality is not made with multisites in mind, it's ment for simple sites with simple needs.

BUT we would very much like feedback on this and ideas on how this can be avoided, as we have multi site on our todo list for ezwebin (the website interface extension that comes with 3.9+).

So fill out an enchanment issue on our issue tracker, to voice your opinion!
