First of all, as I said in the previous post. I'm a newbie to learn and use eZ Publish. I'm using Joomla and I see that the really thing I need is eZ Publish, after try and customize somethings on eZ Publish. I have to pass some other tutorials and articles before move to use the eZ Publish for my website: skin the eZ Publish, customize more extensions and develop my own extension... But I think I should write this post, ask for help/suggestion/comment while I'm diving into eZ Publish! I see that the content is managed very clearly in structure: frontpage, folder. The folder can store any kind of classes and it can show the children... For example:
+ frontpage 1: show news, articles and others in its child folders
- news folder: news
- article folder: articles
- other folder: others
+ frontpage 2: show news, articles and others in its child folders
- news folder: news
- article folder: articles
- other folder: others
+ frontpage 3: show news, articles and others in its child folders
- news folder: news
- article folder: articles - other folder: others + other frontpage 1: only show news that are stored in news folders above. + other frontpage 2: only show articles that are stored in article folders above. + other frontpage 3: only show others that are stored in other folders above. + other frontpage 4: show news, articles and others are stored in all folders above. My first design is simple that. I know that eZ Publish can do more... but as a newbie, I really don't know what is the extension I should use? webin or ezflow or both of them? I know that I can solve this by myself after finish the next steps, but I really need to speed up ASAP. And I see that the menu is still in the one line: with above example, the menu will be all frontpage nodes. I want to separate them into 2 lines: first line is for frontpage 1...3; and the second is for other frontpage 1...4. So would you please to show me the way to implement the design above? BTW, in the menu, is there any way for me to add the other menu item to link to other address? There is a forum (vbulletin) for members, and my members want to use their identities/accounts in forum to post comment on other contents on eZ Publish without register another account on eZ Publish. So is there any solution for me to solve this problem? Thanks for your reading! Thank you very much!
