Hello there, Thank you for this good looking CMS. I've just installed eZPublish 4.0 and it seems very promising. Now, I'm wondering if there is a way to create a permission control for editing user profiles. I'm currently planning a site for a language school which has a user like below.
- Super Administrator
- Administrator
- Sales
- Instructor - Student What I am required to achieve here is; 1. To restrict edit permission so that an user cannot edit other users in the level above. For example;
An user in Student group cannot edit anyone else.
An user in Instructor group can create/edit users in Student group but not ones in Sales, Administrator or Super Administrator.
An user in Sales group can create/edit users in Student or Instructor but not ones in Administrator or Super Administrator ... and so on. Would it be possible to do this by setting up roles and policies? 2. Each user group to have separate set of profiles.
For example an user in Instructor group to have a profile relating to his/her teaching qualification. And an user in Student group to have an academic qualification etc. I'm a total newbie with eZPublish so any input is a great help for me. Thanks in advance, Rio
