Hi, Changing UserClassID value seems to be the easiest way to change User class to use while registering new user from a site. Unfortunately, this param is also used in the Workflow processes, to assign a WF element to it's owner. In result, if you want to use User class for BackOffice users, and have another class (User2) to use in the FrontOffice registration, you can't use the UserClassID param, because Workflows won't work properly. Furthermore, when you want to add a workflow process to the user registration (before publication, with a simple approbation), the new user will be lost in the workflow process... What solution ?
- make a extension, with a copy of user/register module ? :( ( - I don't want to hear anything about a kernel hack ) I think this UserClassID param should be duplicated (one for Workflows, and the other for registration), but this supposes a hack :( , or a fix by eZsystems :) Other solutions ? Thanks ! Xavier G. (Smile)
