What is this survey about ?

Water&stone, based in Bali, provides consultant and search marketing services. Don't be scared by these nice words, they are keen on understanding the CMS market, and that is what counts for us today. They are lauching the "2010 Open Source CMS Market Share Survey".

The survey asks users about the selection criteria they use for screening content management systems and inquires into user opinions on thirty different open source CMS products. Ric Shreves, partner at water&stone and lead analyst on the Report, says "We will select the final set of the Top 20 products based, in part, on what we learn from the survey”. Participants in the survey can request to receive an advance copy of the final Report, useful data to get the survey-based insight on the CMS market. Always useful when making decisions. The Report is non-commercial and released under an open license.
