There is nothing like meeting for real. The daily “virtual” exchanges on share.ez.no and other platforms of the eZ Ecosystem are a great way to nurture strong bonds, but real-life gatherings are much richer. We could notice this at the various conferences in the past, including this year in Berlin, where intense discussions usually happen, and motivation grows. How about starting a regular pace of Community meetings/days, around the globe ? As far as i know, it still is pretty impossible to have a beer together online...
So, until this becomes possible (an online beer), i suggest we start our tour by the homeland of eZ Publish : Norway. A business event is organized on september 16th by eZ, in Oslo (check the morning’s agenda on Facebook ). Two talks and an eZ Publish Fuji (4.4) preview (mostly in norwegian) will make the morning busy.
The afternoon, more of a pure Community happening, will take place at eZ Systems’ offices, here and start at 13:00.
Here is a rough agenda. This event is yours, so feel free to propose ideas !
Go for it. Any topic around eZ Publish / Zeta Components in general is welcome. Do not forget to mention it when registering, so that we can arrange a smooth schedule. We’ll shortly get back to you speakers. In case not all talks can be presented during the afternoon, we’ll overflow them as barcamp topics.
And get a beer, on me, if you score over 95% (i am not kidding). Free certification session for everyone on site. Mention it when registering, please also give your email, necessary for creating a licence.
We need to have enough chairs. You can do so below.
See you there folks, and spread the word !
