Here are our bi-weekly meeting minutes. Our big success of the previous two weeks was a successful upgrade of projects.ez.no, and our focus for the next two weeks will be on the participation model document. Our previous meeting minutes can be found here.

Accompanying people in using github seems to be the best option. This means that the SVN mirror of eZ Publish’s repo will not be restored, and the share.ez.no team and eZ employees should lend a hand on that topic.
A screencast could (should ?) come with the tutorial.
No feedback from the broad community about this repository : http://pubsvn.ez.no/community/trunk/hacks . Decision is made to :
The pre-requisites for this are completing the upgrade to 4.4.
A digest of all input so far was made by Nicolas, and a first skeleton of document was proposed.
Random notes on this :
The goal of this participation model is to engage existing community members and new comers to participate actively to the whole community’s life (information exchange and development), and more particularly to the Community Project.
This needs to be fun, to show new people that we have this community and wire them in for all kinds of participation.
“What will this be used for ?” --> “What is the objective of having a Participation Model ?”
http://share.ez.no/about/get-involved and the “Individuals” part of the Community Program ( http://share.ez.no/directory/community-program#eztoc332469_1 )
We should also assume that some people will not even read the full doc, and will just start using/playing with the reputation system --> it needs to be seamlessly integrated on share.ez.no and be simple to use. A strong connection with the users profiles is required.
The participation model needs to be presented in :
This page needs to be the “Welcome” page for any new member, assisting in the first steps in our Community. Similar ideas are implemented here : http://drupal.org/node/281873, and good ideas are shown here http://www.joomla.org/about-joomla/contribute-to-joomla.html, http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Get_Involved_Guide,http://www.ubuntu.com/community/get-involved
This should be the first step towards opening-up to more beginners, lower the entry-barrier the eZ Community , sometimes sensed as a slightly hard-core one.
Commitment : proposing the RFC to the community before the next meeting.
If you have a few minutes, please check out the blog post below, it would be great if you participated in the survey. Thanks from the eZ Share Community Team.
