Visitsweden is the official tourism authority working to promote Sweden and Swedish interest points to foreign travelers.
www.meresverige.dk targets the Danish market and promotes sightseeing and traveling in southern Sweden. The site contains highly customized Google maps applications extended with automatic POI clustering.
The site also contains a extranet allowing for the local tourism authorities and companies in Sweden to add interest points and articles directly from the website. Translation and publishing workflows are implemented to support the editorial process.
The site has been positively received on the market and new interest points and articles are being added on a daily basis. Branded and skinned versions are also available in the same admin. For example, a skinned version with custom POIs have been launched for the Danish state railway, www.meresverige.dk/dsbfirst.
