Jordan Hirsch is an independent contractor specializing in technical project management and web development. His focus is on enterprise-level content management systems, with a particular focus on eZ Publish. Jordan is an eZ publish Certified Developer with over 10 years of experience in the web development world.
Jordan was formerly a Director of Technology at Mindshare Interactive Campaigns and subsequently held the same title at Interactive Strategies. During his tenure, he has worked on several large-scale eZ Publish web sites, including a multiple award-winning portal site for an association of state-level education government officials. The site was a primary resource for educators across the United States to network with each other, collaborate on education-related topics, and access a vast library of peer-reviewed resource articles on topics covering the spectrum of the American educational system.
His work on that project led him to write an article of binary file indexing for ez.no, which eventually won the 2007 Publication of the Year eZ Award. Since then, Jordan has worked on numerous eZ Publish projects, ranging from complex sites for large international trade associations to community-based sites run by city governments.
Jordan is available to consult on projects large and small, from planning and architecture to custom extension development, to templating and everything in between.

The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) is the largest professional society in the world for professionals in the field of operations research (O.R.), management science, and business analytics. Leading a team of developers in conjunction with Beaconfire Consulting, Jordan architected the technical approach and led the development effort to completely redesign the INFORMS online presence and migrate their data from a custom CMS.
The site uses eZ Flow to manage the home page content and several other key landing pages. In addition, Jordan designed and wrote an extension to implement single sign-on and profile management integration with a third-party AMS tool, so that users are authenticated against the existing AMS system when they sign in to the eZ Publish front-end.
