I wonder if there is such a feature or an extension which allows us to do A/B Testing in ezpublish. Has anyone accomplished this as a generic concept in any ezpublish installation?

Hi Sir !
I presume you are talking about this : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A/B_testing ? My ignorance did not let me understand the question right away, i thought the link above should help others grasp the idea. Cheers !

This could be an interesting extension to eZ. The quickest way of making some tests would be playing a bit with template code which would generate different outputs for designs being tested (with additional parameters being put to URL for analytics). But surely, more advanced extension for this specific purpose would be nice.

I have already use this for a client : http://www.partenaire-europeen.fr/ This extension works well, but I had to make some modification
My blog : http://www.llaumgui.com (not in eZ Publish ;-))
eZC on RHEL : http://blog.famillecollet.com/pages/Config-en
eZC on Fedora : just "yum install php-channel-ezc"

This extension seems very nice, especially as it integrates with Google website optimiser. Will check it out surely.

It appears that there may be "multivariate testing" coming in the Enterprise version. I can't find anything on the eZ.no site but this article on the release on eZ publish 4.4 mentions it (at the bottom of the page)
"
And for Enterprise Customers, official API support, analytics and multivariate testing are in the works.
"
Any details on this?
Cheers Bruce

Hi again all, I have been assured that A/B testing will be one of the top focuses for next iteration at eZ Engineering, leading to Matterhorn (4.5), great news :) Cheers,

This is great news indeed. Is it going to be included into community version of eZP, or is this an Enterprise only feature?
