Access problem - www.example.com/index.php works - www.example.com doesnt

Pirabukannan Muthalagan	Monday 05 July 2004 12:58:57 am Hi , when i try to access my EZ publish site thru internet with normal domain address ( www.example.com ) it doesnt work and gives the following error message. Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. Apache/1.3.28 Server at dozer2.ez.no Port 80 However i am able to access www.example.com/index.php without any problems. Can anybody help me?.

Bård Farstad	Wednesday 07 July 2004 4:13:56 am This has to do with permissions in apache. You could set the DirectoryIndex to index.php in your httpd.conf. Or you could enable directory listing in apache, but I would not recommend doing that. I would recommend that you use the rewrite rules for eZ publish so that you don't need to have index.php in your path. This is also more secure.
