Adding Features to Admin tool

Hello,
I ,as a developer ,been asked by the editors in my website adding some features that will help them doing there work. but i have no clue of how to make them, but i am sure they are possible.

Features needed such as :
1- Adding a check box infront of the children of any folder to move them without asking for editing the articles , one by one. sucha s dealing with emails in the inbox and moving it to any other folder.
2- Check boxes for showing articles on front page isntead of going inside the article and asking for editing them, So the editor can choose mroe than one and clear the others in the same time and this way it will take no time to him/her doing this.

Some other stuff are asked but , let us start by these, if there is any way doing it please let me know.

Hello,
I have sent the above message like a week aago but got no response back.
Hope if there is any one having any idea about it and can help me please.

In Addition, i had been asked for putting a save button while editing an article for example: in which this button should work as saving the current version as draft and reopening it for editing . it is more like save as draft button but it also reopens it for editing. Can you help me how to do that ?
