ajax form call?

It's about sending an ajax request through a form to my script ajax.form.php, the results of which are shown in a div. How to make it work in eZ? All what I get is that engine keeps redirecting me to the home page (and my script name is in address bar), or to the script itself (if it's outside eZ root). Ok, I solved it.

I put a folder inside ez root, created .htaccess with a line "RewriteEngine Off", placed there all my scripts and now it works. :)
