Alternative Text Mandatory

But in the course of the discussion it is mentioned that the input of alternative text for an image can be made mandatory when uploading a new image when using the new online editor. What I want though is something different: I need the alternative text for an image to be mandatory when creating a new object using the 'image' class within the backend (or our frontend editing as a matter of fact). Is there any way to edit the pre-defined attributes within eZ Publish and by doing this making the input field for alternative image text mandatory? Thanks very much, Arno.
