Is it possible to have the same content object published in two different nodes using different versions or when you edit one does it automatically update all of the nodes using that content object?

The second. i don't think you can have different versions of the same object for each node.

I agree with Carlos, you'll surely have to create two distincts objects.

Versions are just here to provide a little versionning system, not for what you want to do...

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the confirmation. I do not actually need this feature. I needed to manipulate the data in the database and I wanted to make sure that only one version is used at a time.

When I had originally asked the question I had the idea in my mind that the current_version field was in the ezcontentobject_tree table and not the ezcontentobject table. So it was really my mistake in the first place that even brought this into question.

Thanks again!
