exclude nodes having parent id

Hi guyz,,

i want to exclude nodes having parent id say for 30, and parent node too from search query.

here is my fetch query

{set search=fetch(content,search, hash(content,text,$search_text, section_id,$search_section_id,parent_node_id, 30,class_filter_type, exclude, subtree_array,$search_subtree_array, sort_by,array('modified',false()), offset,$view_parameters.offset, limit,$page_limit)), }

any ideas.. where i am doing wrong..

any help would be deeply appreciated..
