Hi Can you give mne a pointer please I'm a little slow, it's a great module with features that are badly needed. Well done :) I've copied over all the files to extension/ezadmin/ but I'm not getting a response when I type in admin/userchange/{$ObjectID}/ only (Module not found). The module did show up in extensions and I enabled it, what am I missing?
Thanks Brendan

I added somedebugging messages....
Please turn on debugging. Is the modul really not found? Try to manually set it up... Did it work now?
Other wise you have not the proper right to do perform this action. Check the debug output.
By the way... this URI should switch to the anonymous user. admin/changeuser/10/

Sorry it's taken awhile to get back to me. The problem was very simple, I just needed to add ExtensionRepositories[]=ezadmin to my override site.ini then it worked. :) Could you elaborate a little on your remarks eZUserAddition::loginDifferentUser($ObjectID), ZUserAddition::recallUser() and give example url paths. I have found this extension very nice, however finding users ID's is a bit painful, a nice addition would be a viewable listing of all users who are available to switch to. Thanks again

Currently all my contributions resolve out of my daily work. It is basicly stuff we need. Currently I have no plans to extend it, but you are always free to join the pubsvn and make this additions your self. But I might look over the docs.

Björn, can you please provide details on possible security implications when using this extension as it includes administration features? Has it been tested against fraud or built-in ez protection is enough? I would appreciate an overview of this isssue, thanks!

Denis, the only module you should be aware of is admin/changeuser http://pubsvn.ez.no/community/trunk/extension/ezadmin/modules/admin/changeuser.php As you can see it is using eZ buildin security. You need to have access to this view and read and write access to that user to actually login with him. Is this the info you need?

Thank you for reply. Your comment is helpful and refers to user acess which is a top level (business logic) of the security layers. I guess there is more to it:
- General security: extension bug possibility, is there anything hardcoded around ez security rules - Application level: unauthorized access to external features, generic hacks Anything below (like human factor, overall ez security, underlying software, etc.) is not this extension specific, so we don't look at it. I wouldn't care too much fo those details if it didn't include critical admin functions.

Denis, I am still not quite sure were you wanna lead me. Can you give me a concrete example.
- General security: extension bug possibility, is there anything hardcoded around ez security rules
- Application level: unauthorized access to external features, generic hacks
Nothing had been hardcoded, nothing had been hacked.

eZAdmin SVN client There's a section in the eZAdmin interface which says that it controls an SVN client inside eZPublish - can anybody explain what this actually does? I get a "There is no <svn> module available on this site" error. How does one go about installing the eZpublish SVN client, and where can I find out more about it? regards

@paul
http://ez.no/developer/contribs/3rd_party/extension_ezsvn_pubsvn you find moreinformation in this here... I think i should exclude the link to the svn client if it is not loaded.

Thanks, that looks pretty interesting.
# I think i should exclude the link to the svn client if it is not loaded. - or maybe add a link to the extension if it isn't loaded.
