EzXML - XSLT - Desktop Editor

Hallo,

i would like to use a XML editor like XMetal or XMLSpy to create articles for importing them into eZ Publish.
I guess the xml document of an article, which is generated by using the text imput on the admin site, is
transformed via xslt into a valid xhtml document.
Where can i find this xsl template?
And how the additional xml tags are added to the input text on the admin site to generate an EzXML document?
