How to create charts with ez3?

Marco Zinn	Monday 14 January 2008 8:48:31 am Hello, I wonder, how to create a chart (bar, pie) with a current ez3-Installation. I saw some references to an extension of Björn using JPGraph. Is this the only (working) solution for ez3 at the moment? The threads and the extension are from 2005... does it work with ez 3.10, for example? If anyone is using it, can somebody give a sample, i.e on how to create a simple bar chart? Thanks in Advance. Marco http://www.hyperroad-design.com

I guess you have considered this and you are just afraid of the upgrade or have a blocking arguement. Do or did you use your extension with a current (3.8+) ez 3 site ? For eZ 4: Is there already an extension, that makes use of the new Graph component? Maxime Thomas	Monday 21 January 2008 7:05:48 am Hi Marco, I was thinking about an alternate solution to actually produce some charts and I've found this article : http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2007/10/18/charts-and-graphs-modern-solutions/ My opinion is that it will more interesting for you to develop an generic extension that you can plug in each of your websote to generate graphs. So the bust is to use the eZComponent Graph. http://ezcomponents.org/docs/tutorials/Graph However, it needs PHP5 and by the way eZPublish 4.0.x. If you would like to integrate one of the other solutions in your eZPublish 3.x, it will certainly work, but it might be more complex.
