Need help for ezoptions(dropdownlist)

Hi guys,

We created a class for products which includes an ezoption atrribute for
animal breeds. However we need to know when the user has not made a
selection, rather than it defaulting to the first item on the list, so
we want to display "select" (value="") at the top of the dropdownlist
for breeds.If the customer doesn't select any breed, they would then be
warned. How can I do this?

I have exactly the same problem.

Product class with ezoption datatype.

Everytime you hit "addtobasket" the first option in the list is added too. Even if no option was selected.

It looks like an html problem but i am not shure.

Its very annoying. If any one knows the tricks.
