Wich way to use the template, wich will contain the certain information. The information will notify user about a some kind of event. For example: object publication.

eZ have everything you need, just go to the admin interface and choose the 'My account tab' then the 'My notification settings' or direct using:
www.myportal.com/<myadminurl>/notification/settings/
