I have tried to get this working but i get a JS problem
"EZEditor is undefined" the XML fields just show "disable editor".
I have gone thru httpd settings and also tried all combinations of extension settings.. cleared cache, accelerator cache. any ideas? Tony

Hi,
First, view source code for the page should have editor, could you find line: <script language=jscript src=.../../ezeditor.js"></script> If you can find this line, try go to url: http://yoursite/extension/ezdhtml/design/standard/javascripts/ezdhtml/ezeditor.js, what happened? Could you get a download request?

I cannot "view/source" for some reason... but i can download the .js file and can see the EZeditor constructor in the file.

Hi, Is that possible that you can't view source? What happened with your IE browser? If the editor is not defined and you can download it, the only reason is that it is not included in the page. That is why I really want to know the source code of that page.

Tried to reproduce, but it works from the first shot here (activating the extension, adding a policy for non-admin users). What version of IE are you using? The one that works here is IE 6 build 2800. I think a while ago higher builds were reported to fail. But I can't find the message anymore. -paul

I'm having a similar problem with 3.2 & 3.3 (Beta 1) on IE 6 (2800). Seems like an activeX problem.
Here's the message: Automation server cannot create object Any suggestions?

I've still got this problem with IE6 (as described in the last post). Is there a fix for this, or does someone know the source of the problem? I get the "Automation server can't create object" JS error, and there is a red X in the XML field (can't edit). I can click Disable Editor and edit text, but this won't help end users who don't know the tags.
