I found no way to make the image system tell me requested image sizes of images. The only information available is actual image size. There are many situations where knowing the requested image size of an alias, say "small" in advance comes in quite handy. If, for example, you want to align rows and columns of images in your design without using html-tables, knowing the requested width or hight of an image-alias as an upper limit for image container dimensions is still quite important (at least for Internet-Explorer 5/6). In earlier versions of ezp, one could read requested image dimensions for diverse aliases in site.ini. My suggestion is to restore these parameters in image.ini.
