requirements for a Manage My Account Ez Publish Site

We are currently working on adding our Manage my Account and Shopping cart to the Ez Publish CMS.
I wanted to get some feedback on what the best options are for this. Would it be better to create an Extension for this type of Application I am starting on the Manage my Account.

Hi,

Yes, you can create an extension who contains a new custom module called member by exemple, and then write your customs functions like member/register, member/login, member/myaccount, etc.

You can use the original user module as example for register and login/logout functions code.
