Hi All,

I have a site up with ezp 3.2.3. Everything is great except that anything I type in the search box I get
no results. I type something I know should be there, but I still get no results.

Did I forget to do something?

Thanks

not sure about your setup, but make sure that the items that you are searching for are marked as searchable in the class setup. For instance, if you are searching for a word in the summary, but the summary is not set to searchable fofr that class, it will not return any results.

This is found in setup/classes

Also, 3.2.3 is pretty old. I would highly recommend 3.4 if you are starting a new project. It is much better....

Also, try running the script:

update/common/scripts/updatesearchindex.php

Sometimes on updates the search table is empty. This script ensures that table is populated, and therefore you have search results.
