unpublish_date stops working when workflow is activated?

Our class article has also a field unpublish_date and before we started to use the workflow, the cronjob unpublish worked fine. With workflow activated (publish an article on a specific date) the unpublish function doesn't work anymore. I've tried the exact same thing on 3.4.4 version of eZ and it works fine. Found a soultion:

It works fine with this change in unpublish.php!
