What is L10N?

Can it convert between the different calendars/dates such Hebrew, Chinese, Gregorian, Arabic, etc?

I had always known the term as related to the following...

'L10N' is an abbreviation for the term, 'Internationalization and localization'

"Internationalization and localization[1] are means of adapting products such as publications, hardware or software for non-native environments, especially other nations and cultures."
