Actually I already have a few questions about a few methods ;-). @Charles : I'll do my best to write this tutorial ASAP. If you need a kickstart, the best would be to read the existing tutorial mentioned in my post, and to make some comparison with simple datatypes from the kernel such as ezstring (kernel/classes/datatypes/ezstring/ezstringtype.php)
