Hi Damien, I can see the mention of "events" several places. What are events in the context of this extension?
Sincerely,

An event (in the autostatus/log context) is an "update status action". The autostatus extension has a view that lets you see which update status has been done (or not) by the extension. Cheers

Yes, I plan to implement it ;-). The main challenge here is to authenticate with OAuth 2.0 now (Twitter is using OAuth 1.0)

And if I have enough motivation (and time !), I'll try to also implement Google+ support :)

And if the API exists ;-) There's a TODO file in the extension where planned features are listed. On social network support, I also plan to implement a Linkedin connector. Cheers

url shortener: What about taking http://goo.gl ? http://code.google.com/apis/urlshortener/v1/getting_started.html A SEO bird told me that if you are using goo.gl the page is faster in the google index...
Best wishes,
Georg.

Yeah goo.gl possibility. But I don't know yet how it will be implemented, I think we should probably support several URL shorteners even if goo.gl is very easy to use.

lol, SEO should be renamed in FUD (Fear Uncertainly and Doubt) but anyway, that's another topic ;-)

Hi Damien, Is it a large .ts file? If it is not too much work, I could check for the Dutch translation. Regards Robin

Hi Robin,
"

The translation.ts file is not so large, it contains only 66 quite short and simple strings, the longest sentence to translate is "Please click on the following button to go on %network and authorize autostatus to update your status on your behalf.". It shouldn't take more then 30 minutes too translate. Cheers

Hi Damien, sounds like I can chip in for the Dutch translation, 30 minutes is something I can fit in. Do you have a deadline for the release? -- Robin

Obviously I did not make your deadline. I'll see if I can find some time in the near future to translate it. If I do, can I send it to your e-mail? Regards Robin

Hi Robin, you can still contribute and send it by email, no problem :-) I don't know when I'll release the next version (I've added the support for URL shortening systems and fixed some bugs since the last release) but if you have a limited spare time, I would recommend to not work on translation file now since we'll probably have to add/change some strings wth the support of Linkedin and Facebook. Cheers
