eZ Find and spellcheck

For example: we search "percussions". By default, eZ find suggest me "percussion" which have no result. If i search "percussion", eZ Find suggest me "repercussion" which have results. Better way would be, when you search "percussions" suggest me "repercussion" because we have results ! Is it possible to solr to control result suggestion before showing it on website ? I can't upgrade solr and ezfind due to a limitation we have.

So i ll try your tips, else i ll propose a spellcheck dictionnary they ll update..
