script to run solr as a service

The script (http://issues.ez.no/IssueView.php?Id=12142&activeItem=12) doesn't seems to be ok with our server configuration (redhat (rhel4) + Centos 4.5) and I don't really know how to rewrite it. Any hint? Laurent
