Install problem 1.5.3

Hi,

After installing eZ Newsletter on eZ 4, i cant' acces in the administration to the newsletter , when i click on the menu "newsletter" this message appear :

<b>Fatal error: Cannot make static method eZPersistentObject::definition() non static in class eZNewsletterType in /home/siteinte/www/extension/eznewsletter/classes/eznewslettertype.php on line 564
Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request</b>

It's certainly obvious, but i cant' find out.

hi,
i keep trying to find out where is the problem to my eZ Newsletter installation...
I noticed when i activate the extension, i can't update content, article and so on...
i get this error message :

Cannot make static method eZContentObjectEditHandler::storeActionList() non static in class eZNewsletterHandler in /home/siteinte/www/extension/eznewsletter/content/eznewsletterhandler.php on line 176
</b>

I'm on eZ V 4.0, french language, eZ Newsletter 1.5.3

If someone have any suggestions ?

Hi,

I don't know if you're aware about requirements of eZ Newsletter. Like mentioned at the end of this news, eZ Newsletter 1.5.3 is not compatible with eZ Publish 4.

Unfortunately, no.

eZ publish 4 works on php 5. So, eZ crew must recode most of php pages.

Now, you have several options:
- Wait for a new version
- Code your own newsletter
- Find a solution outside eZ publish
