OE link recognition in realtime

Is it me or did OE on share.ez.no just started recognizing (and underlinig) links in realtime?

Was it upgraded just now and to which version?

Are the links converted in realtime also stored as <link> tags?

Seems to be OE from 4.5+, it includes a plugin from Ephox that does auto linking, works in most browsers.
