Is there a contribution or extension that sends an automatic email out to the main admin if something is published by an editor?

ezp 4.0.x

Thanks in advance :-)

Asking stupid questions so you don't have to!

You could just use the build in notification feature. To do so left click in the admin-treemenu and select "add to notification" (or something similar). Then you will recieve an email every time something beneath this node is created/updated. Be sure to have setup the cronjobs..

Best regards,

Patrick
