Basically two approaches work for us:
1) <b>one structure, object translation</b>: for identical/similar structures (20% cases). 2) <b>separate structure subtrees for each language version</b>: for language versions that may differ or are managed by completely different groups of users (80% cases). Approach 1 works fine since the introduction of multilingual URLs and class translations, but is definitely much more demanding when it comes to end-users.
